Picasa is a software-based program, and its underlying purpose is to manage, organize and publish personal pictures for friends, family and the public to view online at their convenience. Picasa is software that must be installed on a Mac or PC computer. 1. As you were presenting Picasa in class I really was interested in using this because I have over 1,000 pictures on my computer and its so confusing trying to locate certain photos and trying to keep them organized by folders.

I never knew this program even existed and I can't wait to use it. It seems like I can do basically everything I need to do with my pictures without having to find a software on my laptop that will allow me to crop, rotate, and resize my photos.

My friends and I from back home love to take millions of pictures when we get together an I always have the problem of trying to grab photos that I'll find of us and then the photo will be really small depending on the type of camera they used. So with Picasa I hope I can resize the picture without distorting the image.

Pictures are worth a thousand word,so what would my life be without them. With the use of Picasa atleast I know my pictures will always be in order throughout my lifetime. 10 years from now I can look back and not have to worry about digging and sorting through my computer.
