Social Media

Social Media has improved a lot in my opinion. There are so many different social media software’s that can make life for a public relations practitioner a lot smoother. For example: Picasas, Google Wave, Delicious and Bitly are just a few of the social media outlets that can help public relations practitioner or individual can use to enhance networking in community or across the globe. Social Media has helped me out in my everyday life. For example: I use Picasas to upload pictures online, instead of, downloading the picture from the Internet, because it may take hours or days before the picture is completely downloaded. I also, use Google Wave to chat online and unlike other media software’s Google Wave allows me to upload diagrams and PowerPoint simultaneously while I am on online.

All in all, social media is fairly new, but the market of social media is growing and I believe sometime, in the future that social media will be held more at higher stander, because the social media platforms will be more needed, in the future for maintaining networking and keeping in touch with people in society or the community. Social media platforms will one of the most desired places to receive information from there public, which will help out local businesses in the community.
